Lions roll past Rebels in the first round of the 2025 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament 11-4

(Lexington, KY) It's game number 2 of the 2025 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament being held at Kentucky Proud Park on the campus of the University of Kentucky. Our second game will feature the champions out of the 12th Region the Boyle County Rebels verses the champions out of the 16th Region the Boyd County Lions.

Boyle County comes in with a 28-8 record on the season. Boyd County comes in with a 29-5 record on the season.

This game would remain scoreless until the top of the fourth inning when the Lions gets on the board when Gray triples to center field scoring Davis to make the score 1-0 Boyd County. Then a Sacrifice fly by Jones that will score Jones to make the score 2-0 Boyd County.

Rebels gets on the board when Wheeler scores on a single to right field to make the score 2-1 Boyd County.
