(Corbin, KY) It's the first semi-final game of the 13th Region Boys Basketball Tournament. Our matchup will feature the Harlan County Black Bears verses the North Laurel Jaguars.
Harlan County comes in with a 25-8 record on the season. North Laurel comes in with a 20-10 record on the season.
North Laurel was led by Reece Davidson with 23 points going 6-14 from the field 2-5 from three 9-10 from the free throw line, grabbing 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Kole Jarvis with 14 points going 5-11 from the field 2-3 from three 2-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Cooper Elza with 11 points going 4-10 from the field 3-6 from three, grabbing 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. RJ Noble with 5 points 2-5 from the field 1-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Jordan Rawlings went 0-3 from the field 0-2 from three, and grabbing 1 rebound. Cam Anderson went 0-1 from the field, grabbing 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal. Corey Cunagin went 0-1 from the field and grabbing 1 rebound.
Harlan County was led by Maddox Huff with 15 points going 6-10 from the field 1-6 from three 2-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Jaycee Carter with 11 points went 5-10 from the field 1-4 from three 0-1 from the free throw line, grabbing 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Reggie Cottrell with 9 points went 3-4 from the field 1-2 from three 2-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 12 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals. North Laurel will improve to 21-10 on the season. Harlan County will end there 2024-2025 season with a 25-9 record
North Laurel will advance to the 13th Region Championship game against the winner of the South Laurel verses Pineville game, on Monday Night at 7:00 PM
