(Corbin, KY) It's the second game of the 13th Region Boys Basketball Tournament. Our second matchup was the champions out of the 49th District Tournament the North Laurel Jaguars verses the runners-up out of the 50th District the Corbin Redhounds.
North Laurel comes in with a 19-10 record on the season. Corbin comes in with a 19-10 record on the season.
North Laurel was led by Kole Jarvis with 20 points going 7-13 from the field 6-11 from three grabbing 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Jordan Rawling with 19 points going 8-13 from the field 3-7 from three, grabbing 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Cooper Elza with 10 points going 4-8 from the field 2-3 from three, grabbing 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. Corey Cunagin with 8 points going 4-4 from the field, grabbing 2 rebounds and 1 steal. Reece Davidson with 5 points going 2-7 from the field 0-2 from three 1-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. RJ Noble with 4 points going 2-7 from the field, grabbing 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Cam Anderson with 1 steal. Brayden Hampton grabbing 1 rebound.
Corbin was led by Connor Middleton with 10 points going 4-8 from the field 0-1 from three 2-2 from the free throw line and 1 assist. Ryder Akins with 9 points going 3-9 from the field 0-3 from three 3-3 from the free throw line, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal. Dawson Farmer with 7 points going 2-4 from the field 1-2 from three 2-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 4 rebounds and 1 assist. Evan Ellis with 7 points going 3-11 from the field, 1-7 from three 0-1 from the free throw line, grabbing 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and 1 steal. Eli Pietrowski with 5 points going 2-7 from the field 1-4 from three, grabbing 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Connor Blackburn with 3 points with 3 points going 1-3 from the field 1-3 from three, grabbing 1 rebound. Matthew Perez going 0-1 from the field. Trey Parson grabbing 1 rebound and 1 assist. Zach Reynolds going 0-2 from the field, grabbing 2 rebounds. Lucas Brittain going 0-2 from the field, grabbing 1 rebound.
North Laurel will improve to 20-10 record on the season. Corbin will end there 2024-2025 season with a 19-11 record.
North Laurel will be back in action on Saturday as they will play the Harlan County Black Bears, game-time is set for 1:00 PM.
