Lady Panthers roll into 13th Region Semi-finals with a 70-41 win over the Harlan County Lady Black Bears

(Corbin, KY) It's night number one of the Martin's Peterbilt 13th Region Girls Basketball Tournament. Tonight's game one will feature the champions out of the 51st District the Knox Central Lady Panthers verses the runners-up out of the 52nd District the Harlan County Lady Black Bears.

Knox Central comes in with a 24-4 record on the season. Harlan County comes in with a 9-22 record on the season.

Knox Central was led in the game by Shelbie Mills with 28 points going 11-16 from the field, 6-8 from three, grabbing 7 rebounds, adding 5 assists, 1 steal. McKenzie Hensley with 11 points, going 5-10 from the field, 0-2 from three, 1-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Kaylynn Smith with 4 points, going 2-7 from the field, 0-2 from three, grabbing 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Kelsie Smith with 3 points, going 1-2 from three, 1-2 from three, grabbing 1 rebound, and 2 assists. Hannah Melton with 3 points, going 1-7 from the field, 1-2 from the free throw line, grabbing 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
