(Owensboro, KY) It's still pool play in the All "A" State Tournament. Our second matchup will feature the champions out of the 6th Region the Holy Cross (Louisville) Cougars verses the champions out of the 13th Region the Jackson County Lady Generals.

 

Holy Cross (Louisville) comes in with a 5-9 record on the season. Jackson County comes in with a 9-10 record on the season.

 

The Cougars gets on the board first when a Shrader scores on an error to make the score 1-0 Holy Cross (Louisville). Then a single by Willett allows Fries to score to make the score 2-0 Holy Cross (Louisville).

The Lady Generals gets on the board first when Moore singles allowing Fee and Berry  to score to make the score tied at 2. Then the Lady Generals take the lead on a passball to allow Moore to score to make the score 3-2 Jackson County. Then a double by Sallee to allow Brockman to score to make the score 4-2 Jackson County. Then a fly out by Estridge to allow Sallee to score to make the score 5-2 Jackson County.
