(McKee, KY) It's the start of another Kentucky High School Softball Season in the Bluegrass. Our matchup tonight will feature the visiting Knox Central Lady Panthers verses the Jackson County Lady Generals.
Knox Central gets the game started with a single by Swafford to the right fielder allows Grubb to score to give the Lady Panthers the 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the first inning the Lady Generals tie the game up at 1 after a double by Moore allows Fee to score. Then a pop out to the Center fielder allows Berry to tag up to give the Lady Generals the 2-1 lead.

In the top of the third inning Knox Central ties the game up at 2 after a double by Castle allows Grubb to score. A fielder's choice by Jones allows Hill to score off of an error to make the score 3-2 Knox Central.
Then the Lady Generals answer back in the bottom of the third inning when Brock doubles to left field, allowing Fee and Berry both to score making the score 4-3 Jackson County. Then a single by Sallre allows Brockman to score to make it 5-3 Jackson County.

In the top of the fourth inning a steal of home by Nelson trims the lead down to 5-4 in favor of Jackson County. Then a single by Swafford allows Jackson to score to make the score tied at 5. Then a single by Melton allows both Jordan and Grubbs to score to give the Lady Panthers the 7-5 lead.

In the bottom of the fifth inning Jackson County gets one of the runs back on a groundout to the shortstop allows Moore to score, making the score 7-6 Knox Central. Then a single by Sallre allows Brockman to score to tie the game up at 7.

In the top of the sixth inning Castle sends a big fly over the fence for a two run homerun to give the Lady Panthers the 9-7 lead. Then Swafford in the next at bat send a solo shot over the fense for a homerun to make it 10-7 Lady Panthers.
